These female tiger sharks are trained to come in for a stroke on their snouts, which sends them into an apparent state of bliss, and be fed an occasional fish by a pair of very professional wranglers from Epic Diving. At no time were the sharks in 'predatory mode'. Rather, they had learned that they had to approach gently from the front to be rewarded. At no time did we observe anything aggressive or scary during 8 dives with them. It's an odd thing to note, but tiger sharks can actually be quite cute...
